Revolt! Reimagine! Reclaim! The Entrepreneur’s Source® (TES) has launched a new book to help people explore their possibilities, options and dreams to achieve self-sufficiency.

The new book, “Your Career Revolution: Reimagine and Reclaim the Life of Your Dreams,” gives people permission to dream. Terry Powell, TES’ visionary founder, crafted the book, which includes contributions from our team of career ownership coaches. The new book is a great guide and starting point for people who want to make meaningful changes in their lives and careers.

“This book will challenge the reader’s current perceptions. It will challenge your mindset, even limiting beliefs that may be holding you back. This book will help you discover pathways to your goals, your needs, and your expectations in ways I promise you that you’ve never imagined,” said Tamara Loring, who spearheads system ideology at TES.

The new book is a follow-up to an earlier version published prior to the Great Resignation in 2021, when more than 47.8 million people in the United States quit their jobs to explore better opportunities, including business ownership. In a bid to control their own destiny, a record number of people launched a business in 2021. At least 5.4 million new business applications were filed last year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Furloughs and layoffs spurred by the pandemic outbreak prompted people to take steps and to take charge of their own careers and investments. Many could identify with feeling battered and beat up and could strongly identify with the fact that they too, may be suffering from what we call the Battered Career and Investors’ Syndrome® . They wanted to break free from this vicious cycle over which they had no control and they wanted to see what it will take to pursue their dream of self-sufficiency and financial freedom. The new version of the book is a collaborative effort and includes stories of real-life people exploring new opportunities from our coaches.

Global Virtual Launch Party

TES,  the nation’s largest career ownership coaching franchise, held a virtual launch party for the book on November 30. The event was hosted by Kary Oberbrunner, founder of Igniting Souls Publishing Agency, and Tamara Loring, in charge of System Ideology at The Entrepreneur’s Source. We even had people fly in from all over the country for an in-person watch party to help us celebrate in Southbury, Connecticut. Whether in person or virtual, hundreds of people attended the event from across the country, we even had people join us from  Canada and Italy, which was fun.

In addition to contributing to the new book by sharing their own stories, we put the book’s cover in the hands of our more than 150 career coaches. They relished the task of voting between four options to select the book cover. TES revealed the winning cover at the virtual launch with great fanfare.

To highlight the virtual celebration, TES gave away 50 free copies of the new book to attendees. It is available to purchase on Amazon in paperback or Kindle versions.
